Sometimes at home, all Michelle gets from Lori is silence. Out here, Lori opens up more. When they can share a laugh it feels so light. They both promised that during these runs they would really listen to each other with no judgment. Communication, not just reaction. Under a full moon? They feel steady. Secure. Reassured.
