It makes her feel more connected to the magic all around, and she can actually hear the whispers of her intuition. Mariah moved to the desert with her husband about six years ago. This place can be intense. Not just the temperatures, but OH! The desert is crazy beautiful! When a rainstorm comes rumbling through, everyone gets so excited and it smells amazing. When there’s a full moon? Her senses seem like they’re working overtime. Maybe it’s that clear sky that makes the moon seem close enough to touch. She feels wide awake now, and somehow sharper. More perceptive. In tune with the spirit of the place, and with her soul. Connected to the universe and expectant of magic.☽
